Need new contacts. My supply ran out and I broke my back up glasses months ago so I went to the place I got the original prescription so they could order some more. They said it expired and I needed to get a new exam. I have the last pair in my eyes. I know my prescription so I KNOW its correct. They still don't want to order new ones and the exam is $155.00 I called like 6 different eye doctors and they all said the same thing about I had to take an exam while pushing that "we take insurance" "we take any kind of insurance" WHY I gotta go through all that just to refill contacts. I could see if I didn't know my prescription.

So I say fukk it, I'll just go online and order them. In the United States you can't buy contacts unless they confirm the prescription with a doctor. It's law. In my case it expired so the bytch ass doctor wouldn't sign off on it.

I actually ran into the same problems because like you I think it's a pain in the ass to get an appointment to get contacts. I asked and there's actually legal reasons why you have to have the appointment.

That's why they invented waivers. Health care in this country is over priced and full bureaucracy bullshyt. Built with the goal of making money. Now I have to wait 8 to 10 days to get my contacts.

Yeah your eye exam is only valid for a year, do what I do and order your new contacts a week before your last eye exam is no longer valid. I can't wait for the day I have a few extra bucks and I just get lasik done and be done with glasses and contacts.

I just read the whole thing and the part that fukked the whole thing up is

When I buy contacts I get well over a year supply. 18 months minium. Don't got time to keep track of some shyt like that
