The ride back is usually when I'm the most engaged. Especially if you're from somewhere else. I get a high off picking the driver's brain on where they're from, and it's boosted if I can pick my own brain for topics to frame the discussion. it's weird to think fun happens to you. you are not fun or engaging but want a fun filled night all you doing is drinking and smoking, those things are supposed to spice up the shyt they aren't the main event. you not dancing or any of that, the vibes just supposed to come to you. hate to break it to you op but it might be YOU. I've just been invited to like 3 private parties this month alone that are sold in advance and the crowd is curated. people are actually going out of their way to avoid letting boring people be in the mix. i'm going to a secret soca fet, a afrotech party and a proper hip hop lovers event all at the end of this month and the crowds are people i've know in scenes for 20 years. passionate music lovers. never not a good time.
