I don't think certain people who complain don't know how to count calories

The methods of losing weight is easy tbh.

Create a deficit and exercise.

What's the hard part? Staying focused and not eating like shyt? :patrice:

Before I lost weight and recommitted, It was all in my head. I used to be bytching brehs. I wanted to be a gym rat type of gut but mentally I had a block that basically stopped me from going because I thought I'd fail anyways.

Then I started counting calories and earing healthy and exercising and voila.

I've never been happier or felt better.

:blessed:

Calorie counting is easily the most important part of conditioning

If aesthetics matter at all to someone they should master calorie counting before ever setting foot in a gym IMO.

:ehh: One of those things thats hiding in plain sight.

Yeah I know fat girls who were depressed and suicidal because they're overweight.

I wish they knew the basics.

Same.
Nutrition should (and is, in certain places) be a part of the average school curriculum.
Literally controlling when you eat and what you eat, and exercising, is all you need to lose weight.
Even the calorie counting itself can be rather silly in many instances, simply cleaning up your eating, and cooking your own whole foods would solve the diet and weight woes of 80% of Americans, a solid work-out plan solving it for the other 19%.

It's keeping the muscle mass while losing excess fat, that's the hard part.
IDK fam... first real cut I did, I struggled. Second cut, I knew what macro adjustments I had to make, and I actually made gains in the cut.

Its because as Americans eating is the focal point of our day. We base our days and the turning points of them around meals. Wake up EAT BREAKFAST!!! the most important meal of the day!, lunch (another meal) means your halfway through your workday or school day. Dinner ---goes without saying.

Meals are the pivot points, the sub goals of the day. If I can make it to lunch, lets go out to dinner. Dinner 'and' a movie.....

Its so simple, eat less, eat RIGHT! Hell you can eat more if you eat right. The problem is with a lot of people is the eat wrong and they eat often. They feel sick, tired, weary, depressed, angry just overall emotional if they don't eat. "I missed breakfast"---"I'm late for lunch!" "I want to eat dinner." The body does have physiological effects due to intake and satiety. But its not that deep. Nobody is in a position where they are going to collapse from hunger. Nobodies body is going to fail to perform if they miss a meal or better yet choose to fast.

Its tough because a lot of peoples schedules don't correlate. If you have kids, yes they should eat 2 - 3 separate appropriate meals a day, to aid them in growing. If you do physically demanding work then yes you should see a nutritional boost. Eating is a hobby, so many different flavors and foods, not even mean to necessarily help you live but to explore and have fun.

You can't tell me there is real world necessity for mystery flavor doritios, and you know we are straight clowning when we are making foods that imitate other foods' taste. chips that taste like cookies, and cheeseburgers, and loaded potatoes and shyt.
