I still remember hearing this for the first time in a hip hop spot when I was around 17. Had heard of Em but had yet to hear any of his music. Definitely still play this joint from time to time.

This song makes me feel that Eminem rapping and EL-P producing would work well regardless of the different styles they used throughout their bodies of work. Infinite, slim shady LP Eminem would have meshed well with Cannibal Ox EL. Current alphabet soup Eminem would also mesh well with EL’s RTJ production.

this will always be dope. but it's basically a 100% more enjoyable version of what eminem does now, imo: rhyming for rhyme's sake.

i know it's an obvious statement. but the slim shady persona COMPLETELY changed his career path. he would've maybe been a gold artist at best if he stayed in this lane. all that rap elvis shyt would've never been a topic, because most fans wouldn't have cared about him.
