i mean, i get it and i respect their decision. but, personally, i've always enjoyed thanksgiving more than any of the other holidays. it's the only holiday where spending copious amounts of money is not encouraged. the only money spent is on dinner, and that dinner is designed to feed your family. it's not spent frivolously on some bullshyt toy or object that you don't need. not to mention, it's the only holiday that seems to get the least amount of respect compared to all the others (which is bullshyt in my opinion). this year will be the second year i haven't gone to see any of my family members for thanksgiving and it's bumming me out a little bit.
imagine that, the one holiday i actually enjoy and i can't enjoy it...
