Yh I think it's more a parental intuition in this case!

We all have intuition. We often ignore it if we dont understand/like the mesage we recieve. If you used to men cheating you will be quicker to pick up on those signs (often can be a self-fulfilling prophecy). If you unhappy and used to being around other unhappy ass people you wont be as quick to even consider that let alone respond to it.
