Even though Taker wasn't his first choice he still worked with what he had and did a good job. Taker is so Punk was a good choice to carry him and do the heavy lifting though he was much more needed in the main event to take the load off the Rock. I'd like to see where they go with Punk from here, hopefully not a face turn but I've seen people do some pretty evil shyt then turn face right after like Congratulations Punk, you did the damn thing.

Too bad he didn't end the streak though. He would have been made.

Taker hasn't had a bad Mania match in years. Wasn't really an impossible task.

Taker is old breh and only getting older. He's in better shape than The Rock but he needs an opponent that can do most of the heavy lifting and he'll pull off his spots and the dueling finishes. I didn't have high expectations for the match because you never know when Taker is going to run out of gas especially this year when they said he might not even come back.

honestly saw no point in that match with punk losing. he lost to him at Hell in a Cell 2009 with no rematch. and now he lost to him at mania with no benefit to him really. coulda just tossed him in the main event for the title.
