Why?

Because every man has their own "standard" of what's beautiful and what's not. Every person has their own idea of what's attractive to them. Beauty is subjective, not objective. Trying to make something so vague and vast as what people consider "beautiful" so objective with these lists (as well as beauty standards in themselves) is stupid to me. I just ignore it. This gets on my nerves because trying to push popular opinion through media is just wack to me now.

It pains me to see all of these women get their self-esteem battered up because they think they have to look like these women in order to get attention. fukk those lists...making women feel ugly. Just made by a group of superficial people. And I shake my heads at the dudes that really prop this stuff up. Maybe this is why I'm so nowadays...it's like every man is into the same thing and are afraid to really just really be about what they are about...another reason why things just seem so boring and homogenized now to me.

Why would you take it seriously in the first place.

Realize that this is a broad-form version of people making a who's hot/who's not list in high school. If a chick's going to get all bent out of shape about it and let a person without a face dictate her self-esteem, then she's probably not strong enough mentally for anyone of importance to give a genuine fukk about anyway.
