Hypothetical: Would you crash out in credit card debt if you knew you was about to die?

Long story short, when my parents passed away 3 years ago, I found out that I didn't have to pay their credit card debt (it was only $600
They paid their bills). But it got me to thinking. If you knew you didn't have long to live. Would you crash out and buy everything for your kids, family, friends. They wouldn't have to pay it back. The debt dies with you.

Nope. Would start to give what I have to those who need (i.e. pay down college debts, help with medical expenses, assist with home down payments, etc.) as my "parting" gift.

Your family doesn't have to pay credit card bills. Once you die, all your family has to do is tell them your deceased. Only way they would be if their name is on the card.

Cancer be damn terminal but I go and dikk down some questionable girl to get it out my system, sky dive, street race with the top down, etc and suddenly my shyt is in remission and i'm like Now i'm ready to kill myself cause my debt is 6 figures and I might have an STD from one of the SWV girls.

Not credit cards. We called the credit card company, told them he was deceased and they cancel the account. If you're a cosigner then yes, the debt transfer to you.

This is basically what we did. Sent them the death certificate and the account was closed. But your friend could call that company just to make sure.
