there's another system behind that one too.

i could tell it was coming, especially over the last week or two because we've been experiencing tropical rain like weather just about every day except for today and tomorrow as it's expected to heat up here in NOLA over this weekend.

it'd be like quick flash flooding and shyt like that, then followed by brief sun but mostly cloudy all thru the day with random bouts of downpours

Now the forecast predicts landfall in Jamaica at cat 3 followed by the Yucatan at Cat 2

Yeah an major hurricane in June is as common as one in November

But this is supposed to an active year & the water in the Caribbean & Gulf is WARM

Now it looks like Jamaica might get spared the direct hit, but Barbados/St Lucia might get the brunt of it

Yeah, once again the Atlantic waters are extremely warm and in fact, unusually warm for that part of the Atlantic this time of year.

So this has made Baryl the strongest June storm on record, and it may become the first Category 4 storm in June ever.

This is supposed to be a Hurricane season that could rival 2005 and 2020.
