Also, I do wish for statehood for better federal help on fronts like this. Relying on the very small population that often leaves or Musk's fairy tales won't solve this issue.

Smh, the fact that citizens are almost completely oblivious to PR and how the current status is screwing them over is what’s sad. They either need to gain statehood or independence with potential free association status like Micronesia.
