How humans may look in the year 3000, thanks to our reliance on tech: Hunchbacked and wide-necked with a 'text-claw thumb' and a second set of eyelid. Experts have created a model called 'Mindy' that provides a glimpse at what we could look like in 3000 Years of looking down at our smartphones or up at computer screens will result in hunched posture , Our hands will be permanently moulded into a claw shape after consistently gripping our smartphones.

For many people, a moment without your phone or laptop in sight can feel like a lifetime. But a terrifying model may encourage you to spend less time with your devices. Researchers have created a grotesque model called 'Mindy', which they say provides a glimpse at what humans could look like in less than 800 years as a result of our reliance on technology

Ummm this would only make sense if the traits are selected for via natural selection...are you saying people without these traits would die off? How? Also 1000 years is not long enough for any real evolutionary adaptations to take place...

Please tell me you realized this article was a joke before posting it?

Life is a test many quest the universe
And through my research, I felt the joy and the hurt
The first shall be last and the last shall be first
The basic instructions before leaving earth

9 Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me,
10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:
11 Calling a ravenous bird from the east, the man that executeth my counsel from a far country: yea, I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it.
Isaiah 46: 9-11.

NYC (but PGH will forever be home)
that would be quite a development... have we changed that much in the past 1000 years?
We haven't changed that much, anatomically speaking for like 100,000 years :mjlol: .

Article is also dumb because it assumes that technology will be suspended. Ain't no way we are looking at phone screens like we are now 25 years from now, let alone 100.

According to anthropologists, if you were to take a Human baby from around 100k year ago, and raised them to an adult like a modern Human, they would be indistinguishable from you and I. They may have better dental profiles since, apparently, our soft food diet has weaken our jaw development.

I wish i had time to find a better source but im at the gym
