You may need a mix. I've found a couple Funimation titles on Hulu that limit the streaming quality on certain platforms (older titles)

Funimation is good if you like dubs, Crunchy has more subs. They have a partnership where they share titles but its limited to sub only or dub only by title

look into VRV you can get a Crunchy/Funi combo for the low but I've heard its not the full catalogues

Hulu may be worth checking out for watching other live action sitcoms/dramas

@It is a mystery stay on the lookout for 30 day trials on crunchyroll and funimation. Usually during these little weekend anime conventions they will run promos on social media

They been slowing down tryna so the 7 day trial bullshyt but the deals are still around

I just found out VRV added old Nickelodeon shows as well. I’m officially sold

VRV for the win.

Funimation is fine for me as a fairly casual anime fan. Been watching all the new fall anime on it. I don't care about subs vs. dubs and I'm fine waiting a couple weeks for the dub to come out. If either of those are a problem for you, Crunchyroll is the better option.

VRV>>>>>

On the real, you better off with a combination of VRV and Hulu since Hulu has anime that's not even on Funimation, along with OG anime that's not on VRV. Also, Funimation as a service is the shyts:camby:

Best part offline download and it's getting hidive next month to replace funimation

They removing all their dubs from the VRV platform?

sounds like only subs but nothing official

On Thursday, Funimation and CrunchyRoll officially split up. The anime streaming giants started their partnership in 2016, showing hundreds of dubbed and subbed shows to millions of hungry weebs. On Nov. 9 2018, FunimationNow users will still have access to “several hundred subbed shows” and only “a handful of dubbed show” will be leaving the service according to Funimation’s FAQ page. All shows licensed during the merger will be available to both CrunchyRoll and Funimation.

The final list of what remains on each service hasn’t been released yet, but larger animes will still be available for FunimationNow users. Attack on Titan, Dragon Ball Super, Fairy Tail, My Hero Academia, and Tokyo Ghoul will all be available according to the FAQ. Funimation expects that the Fall of 2019 won’t be affected along with “simuldub” episodes which get the dub of an anime up as soon as possible. Users will no longer be able to access their FunimationNow accounts on VRV, the streaming channel used on devices like the Roku.

:ohhh: I’ve been subscribed to Funimation, any downside to VRV?

They putting hidive dub on it to replace funi
If I'm correct hidive has less dub overall but more dub simulcast than funi tho and other dubs thats exclusive on it like funi has their exclusive dub

Which is the best streaming service for anime?
Crunchyroll via VRV. Gets you Crunchyroll premium and in November HiDive as well as a bunch of other streaming services like Roosterteeth. Only cost like a few more dollars than a Crunchyroll sub.
