DOA outside of China, if phones running US software get banned what would happen to Chinese software lol. But it probably doesn't matter since its the fallback if they get the Android license revoked again.

Not to mention there's 200 million+ apps that won't make it over, it's too late in the game for a Android/iOS rival. Putting it on some entry/mid level phones and making money off the flagships/Android is smart.
