I would feel like they are distancing themselves for an entire part of themselves. Perhaps some self hate but I still couldn't tell them* who they are. My opinion won't matter to them. It is probably still people "passing".

When they claim black I think white people think they are distancing themselves from their other half as well. That's why for me, I just view them like what they are....mixed. They get treated like mixed people. I would be a fool to think they get treated like a pure black person.

Leta so called mixed race, end up on the 7 o clock news for armed burglary and his description is going to include either black or african american, there isnt any levels to this shyt so in other words that mixed thing is due to political correctness

Must be tough for biracial folks sometimes. If they were to say they weren't black, you'd have black people saying that they hate themselves and that they obviously ARE black...

...but at the same time, you've got black people telling them they're not black.

Can't win, it seems. Must be confusing for the kids.
