as bad as they played in that series against the Hornets idk. they let Jamal fukking mashburn go off on them. I remember watching the 1st game of the series thinking :whoa: ok 1 game they won't get blown out the next. Then it happened again :sadbron: then a 3rd time :damn:

something about those late 90s early 2000 Heat teams that always wet the bed in the playoffs

:heh: I still don't get how the Heat lost to the Knicks in the 1st round when they were the 1st seed, and ZO killed it during that regular season and probably should have won MVP too, but the way they would underperform in the playoffs was something else. They looked like title contenders too, and had the talent to go to the finals, but always fukked themselves in the playoffs.

:snoop: my girl at the time had moved from Brooklyn down to florida and was a big knicks fan. but yeah that shyt used to have me :mindblown: We got lucky with those suspensions in 97 otherwise the Knicks probably would have won that series also. that series where Houston hit that game winner :wow: I really thought we were gonna see the Spurs in the finals that year cuz I thought Zo and PJ could match up defensively with Duncan and Robinson

I firmly believe we would have went to the Finals had Zo been healthy. One of the most crushing blows ever as a South Florida sports fan. That shyt hurt, man.

that 99 knicks squad that upset the heat were much better than what their record showed. they were decimated by injuries early in the shortened season but got hot at the right time.
