How will technology and organizations such as VICE impact the future of news reporting?

Will Vice have a substantial impact? I mean, VICE is still relatively young but as the organization continues to grow and go places/and report stories that traditional news agencies won't report, I think they will lead a change in the way we (young people) get our news. Do y'all think young and inspired journalist will seek to join organizations such as Vice instead of your traditional FOX news and CNN's that will obviously "water-down" or censor their work?

I personally believe that VICE is one the greatest things to happen during this internet age where a company can branch out and bring stories to us that may be misreported or not reported by the mass media. I also think that as VICE continues to grow, they will inspired talented young journalists to join their movement or similar movements instead of traditional news agencies. Last, it also helps that inspiring journalist can report stories using the latest technologies and social media platforms that wasn't available just a decade ago.

As for Journalism, the big Networks pay a lot more so you know how that goes. I think that alot of younger journalists and photojournalists getting their start at VICE could change the change the face of mainstream reporting down the line.

Hopefully these news organizations like Vice can wipe away the perpetual fraud that the mass media presents to the public everyday. This kiddie news bullshyt we have been forced to deal with all of our lives. When there is a war we do not see the effects of that war on the people. It's just a word to most people. The news needs to be war so we can have some sort of connection to it.

(A white write-in candidate made it to the primaries, really interesting stuff is going on) And as a photographer you could hit the come up with the pictures of Detroit. Not just the abandoned buildings and urban decay but the overall look of Detroit. You could find some gold there. The media usually skips over Detroit as a story because they don't understand it. It's pretty deep and interesting. Vice would have a field day with it.

You are allowed the freedom to say what you want when it seems like no one is listening. When you make an impact, the money comes, and if you dont take it the threats come and if you dont take it your funeral comes. They wont have any kind of impact as long as the foggies that run the nation have money that brings with it influence. If they can crush a multi billionare in Africa, what is it to squash a domestic flea, thats really not impacting anything but bringing the new back to 1960's standards.

And yeah Detroit all around has good, crazy, and conflicted stories. The definition of conflicted. I basically escorted a white dude into the projects today.... (he had business probono work he does) and was scared to go do it. On the same day we looking a people tryin to create start ups downtown. People have came here and made millions off a city that went bankrupt and can't pay pensions. Plus that corny street shyt that Vice does talking with people... vice would eat good as fukk in hispter midtown.
