The more important question is, how do you get raped in jail when you have the streets on lock? He should have had goons on deck to prevent his anus from being thrashed.

Net Income > Gross Income.

Yeah, artists generate a lot of money, but they also have a lot of expenses as well :shrugs:

Album sales are usually the smallest portion of an artist's music income

even the Rolling Stones said the money they made off their albums even during their peak was only scraps. The real money come from endorsements and touring, and you can't do any of that from jail

Dear baby it's me again
Stuck inside this Max' Pen'
Trying to pay my debt for all my sins
See
These penitentiary time's be so heavy on my mind
At times it's like I'm living just to die
I'm living in hell
Stuck in my jail cell
Stranded in the county jail
Waiting for my chance to post bail
I wanna be paid in large stacks
And mash in fast Jag's
I blast and wonder how long will I last
My memories fade when I'm intoxicated
Busters be shady
So I'm dumping on cowards crazy whenever faded
I know I said it all before but now I mean it
Visions of me and you balling so crystal clear I seen it
Even though you mad at me you'll be glad to see the strategy
Of making these chips come so easily
I max out in the morning baby life is good
Me and you against the whole hood
Soon as I come home

Grab my gat, locate my comrades*
Let's get my enemies, not knowing I'm coming back*
(Soon as I get home)*
Let's get the money out the safe*
It's time to turn the streets to a war zone soon as I get home*

Let's be real most of these dude ain't :eat: like they claim to be. The dudes that are really getting it live on the road (getting that show money).

As far as Pac goes he seemed to be a person that really wasn't bout his business, that's not to disrespect the man bc he was a great artist.

I just find it kind of sad that dude didn't even have 1 million dollars for bail a year before his death but after his death he went on to sell like 100 million albums since 1996.

That's like Van Gogh selling just one painting during his lifetime but after he dies his shyts are selling for like 80 million now.

It's cold blooded when the artist himself doesn't get to benefit from his own work.

Imagine if Suge never approached Pac in jail and instead it was Puff who wanted to post the 1 million dollar bail and sign him?

(It's possible, and would probably have made Pac realize they had nothing to do with the Quad Shooting)

I honestly don't see Pac turning down any offer to get him out of jail at that moment
