I have seen one of the arguments, which is to overpay the fighters big purses now, get it on a network with the plan of attracting 1m+ casuals into boxing fans then launching new PPV stars, but I really don't see how he can sustain paying them big purses, obviously he has some sort of realistic deal to convince 2 hedge funds to put up that guap, but im confused

it's not about making these guys ppv stars for haymon, it's a bigger picture than that breh.

if pbc can bring in ratings, high ratings then haymon can make that money back in 2 ways.

1. Advertisement/Commercials.You see how much money the nfl, mlb, and nba make money off this shyt. If ratings are high, you think pepsi, dominos, and godaddy, etc aren't going to want to tap into that 18-35 male demographics by putting there crazy ass commercials during a pbc broadcast.

2. Haymon bought time slots from all these networks, cbs, spike, nbc, etc. When his deal is done and if PBC is successful who do you think has the leverage in renegotiating ??? Who do you think will come out the pocket to pay for pbc??

In case you or anyone else haven't noticed, PBC is a league, plain and simple. This whole PBC thing is a big gamble which can eventually lead into bigger things.

This is a good post in providing an overview of what most people think PBC's goals are. But there has been some mystery as Haymon has not shared his business plan publicly. I wonder if he has any other revenue streams or ideas he is trying to create. :lupe:
