We're back again with another showcase to Kickoff 2021!

You all played a major part in allowing this to flourish and rather the showcases got tons of votes or not I hope that at least this served you in some way. For something to be going nearly a full year around here is a major accomplishment that everyone should be proud of. I thank you all. This wouldn't have happened without the collective energy of everyone. I look forward to another year of excellence

This is a difficult choice. @How Sway? 's Track is good in terms of drum and sound selection. The mix volume is a little to loud to listen to without having to turn down the volume on my monitors.
The beat has a lot of potential the synth that's arpeggiating until about 2:21 goes on for too long, that sound would be great for a hook, but for it to drag on throughout the entire track causes it to get stale after a while.

The DJ scratches are a nice touch, the the kick/808 combo are stand out. The drum selection has a retro feel but they aren't polished. What I prefer in this track is the mix levels are superb. The thing that takes away from it is the sound selection outside of the 808/kick choice.


For reasons I mention above my vote is going to @bigrodthe1

Levels are 80% of the presentation and if those aren't right then the listener may not get to appreciate everything else

shyt was funky and catchy. How sway beat was cool, just needed better mixing. The melody and instruments were decent tho.

I went with How Sway?
I liked that String type melody in there.

Rod had a really cool throwback 80's sound but like a lot of beats from that era. It lacked melody... but i found it a really cool idea anyway.
