Interesting video.
I disagree with the premise and the speakers entirely though.
Its funny he posits with no support, that the market and valuing the market is destructive to society.
Yet the market is literally the preference of "society"
So if you have people and organizations catering to the market, in economics, they are literally catering to provide what the masses or society wants.
To say this leads to the breakdown or destruction of society is either ignorant of what the market is, or is blatantly lying to make a argument to support various forms of socialism (democratic socialism to communism) that have proven to be failures in providing society with what it wants and adequately providing for the needs of those in the respective societies that have adopted it.
