If floyd makes 100 mil how much does he get to keep l? (Not factoring taxes)

Never understood why managers/trainers/promoters get percentages instead of flat fees for huge fights

floyd is estimated to make 180M or even more, he will get more from ppv buys and whatever other cut (t-shirts, hotdogs, etc)

managers can get from 10 to even high as 30 percent of a fighters purse from what i've seen. floyd is managed by al haymon how has the lowest fee in all boxing managers today. he charges 10-15%.

trainers usually get 10% but his pops is his trainer, im sure he's getting more.

the fight is being promoted by top rank and mayweather promotions, so that 30-40% of his money going to a promoter don't affect him.

lets estimate
.10-15% manager
.10% trainer
.10% for nutritionist, cutman, sparring partners(usually get 10K a week from floyd but he b, etc

i wanna say he'll keep 60-70 percent of that 180M which means he'll take home 125M- 110M just from the purse. Just a rough estimate.

  • Pay-per-view — Branch estimates pay-per-view sales will generate $270 million in revenue alone based on purchases in 3 million homes. However, some believe sales could reach 4 million homes, which would push this portion of the revenue up to $360 million. Of that, 55-65% will go to the fighters or ~$150-233 million with the rest going to cable companies and satellite providers (30-40%) and HBO/Showtime (7.5%).
  • Ticket sales — Gate receipts at the MGM Garden Arena in Las Vegas will generate ~$72 million thanks to tickets ranging in price from $1,500 to $7,500.
  • International broadcast sales "At least" $35 million.
  • Closed-circuit broadcasts at bars — $13 million.
  • Sponsorships $12 million.
  • Merchandise sales $1 million
