I read a non-fiction book called Freakonomics and they conducted a study and found out most drug dealers only make $3.30 an hr.

On the show they said Avon and the Barksdale crew was clearing about 14 million a month for years. If that number is true, they were probably paying the Greek around 7-8 million for the product. So with the roughly 6 mil left, Avon and Stringer probably took 2 mil a piece at least so that'd leave at most 2 million for the squad not including weapons, cars and shooters. I'd guess your average corner boy was seeing around 20-25K a year.
