A significant change would be how much stronger Gohan would get early on. Bulma would be all for Goku training Gohan, but the thing is Gohan's potential wouldn't be as high cuz Toriyama has stated before how Gohan's hidden strength came from Chi-Chi and not Goku like people thought.

Goku and Bulma wouldn't really have a change in character I think. Yamcha would've taken more massive L's of course. Vegeta would probably be more evil since he technically wouldn't have anyone to care about. Dude would probably leave Earth and come back every once in a while when he'd realize Goku surpassed him again

Them nikkas would probably all die by the androids anyway cuz there'd be no Trunks to warn them

And the only thing that kept Vegeta at Bulma's for the first part was the gravity machine/shuttle to train. Chi-Chi can't offer that nikka anything.
