I kind of always had a feeling he was just mostly fukked by taking that insurance policy when he did as far as appearing on TV and reconciling with WWE, not that his shyt wasn't fukked up but he probably could've got one or two safe ones off without that insurance policy.
Wtffff I had no idea. Who looked so washed on tv. Never knew about the Lloyd of London stuff until I heard Bischoff bring it up on his podcast regarding Rick Rude. He was saying how he wanted to still wrestle but he couldn’t because he took the insurance money.
Meltzer mentioned years back on the Lapsed Fan Wrestlemania perspective podcast for Mania 26 about this house show match that took place and how Bret looked surprisngly good when they were lamenting about how he couldnt do anythng returning.
Bret look like he hadn't lost a step.
Good find, OP.
On a side note, Lloyds of London's policies must pay very well, because every celebrity who is insured by them has to give up any and all dangerous activites/hobbies in order to remain insured.
Only knew because I followed all his interviews where he talked about the Lloyd's of London policy. He would joke about scooting around that shyt. But man 2010 puts him at 51, could've had a banger. Would have probably been against a safe guy like Heath but still
Excellence of execution never lost it. Man been playing like Kevin Spacey in usual suspects. Even handicapped he can work better than shytberg ever has.
as long as he wasnt taking bumps bret was able to work matches back then...but if he took so much as a hiptoss he prolly would have been concussed again
