Personally, reparations are not the top of my mind because in this current environment its not happening and also it's a pipe dream being pushed to depress black turnout. Finally it will not rectify the issues in our community.
Now if you're talking about investing in black communities and having a concerted effort to address our disadvantages outside of "cutting a check" this is what I support and find more achievable.
If you don't like what I'm saying I welcome the debate but I feel a few of you know this as well. Just not "cool" to admit it or say it. But I'm being honest and not putting on a front.
