If you're trying to put on muscle, I know patience & consistency are key.. So how long should I wait before checking for big changes size wise?

& for those whove successfully bulked.. How long did y'all take?

depends on bodyfat

current musculature

if you are frail with little fat. youll see progress early

if ur fat with no muscle, you may not see it til later down the road when either ur muscles get big enough to be seen beneath the layer of fat OR you lose enough fat for ur current muscle + newly built ones to be seen

eitherway body fat is the bottle neck provided you are lifting with intent to progressively move more weight

If you do it right 3-6 months you'll see some serious changes. You'll notice shyt in the first few weeks and month. If you stay dedicated that 1.5-3 year mark is when you'll notice the biggest change start/finish wise. After that 2.5-3 year mark the gains slow down, way down, unless you supplement.

Yea I'm talkin relatively frail trying to put on mass. I don't necessarily move up in weight every single day I lift but I do regularly put on weight when I feel that the weight I'm pushing is getting easier.

8 weeks for fam
12 for the world

Might be little changes doe

3 months :leon:

you should change that to putting weight on per workout until you stall

increase your strength as quickly as possible

reduce your reps if necessary

How low a rep range should I be at? Because I typically do 10-12 reps in a given set, for like 5-6 sets.

you feel it before you see it IMO.

when your favorite t-shirts etc are snug in certain places and loose in other spots that you're not used to. usually 8-12 weeks if you're really about that life is where YOU start to see/feel it. Others will get the courage to speak up on what they see in the 3-6 month range usually.
