How long does it take fast food transactions to show up on your account log?

I went to checkers friday night(saturday morning) and its sunday night now and still no pending or active transaction is on there my balance is still the same. Did i get lucky? or is it technically pending until monday?

thats what i was thinking even got a receipt using my debit card just trying to see why it hasnt taken anything out so i dont end up overdrawing later on

I guess ill just leave filling up to tomorrow then when i get paid again thats why i was wondering why that other money wasnt taken out yet.

lol i cant overdraft since i got 2000 worth of overdraft protection but rather not have something come out when i do get paid. plus they could always pull out of saving i think

(If you use your PIN) Stuff done over the weekend shows the following business day if you have a bank. Credit union its usually immediate.

Using the "credit" side of your card it'll show up in 2-3 business days.

And you might want to review your banks overdraft protection policy. Most banks view it as a lending service, so they are "protecting" you by covering your transaction when you don't have the funds available in your account, but they still charge you a fee for that service.

Using other accounts to cover your main account (Overdraft Coverage) is the same. Although you are drawing your own funds from another of your accounts to protect yourself. The bank will still charge you a service fee for doing that transfer for you.

Bottom line, balance your account. You spent the money, and whether it posts today or 30 days from now is irrelevant.
