How long do you wait to delete a match on an app?

A week of no activity, if people deleted matched they didn't have active conversations with most people men AND women who have virtually nothing in their match lists, they just keep them to act like they doing something
Days if the bytch got the nerve to respond to my greeting but don’t go further

If I don’t, depends. The conversation obviously is dead but I don’t manage the apps like it’s a stock trade. If I feel I need a restart, I just start ummatching.

If I drop my number and don’t get a response I’m unmatching.
You think hinge drops your “rating” when you unmatch? Or drops their score?

I believe all dating app activity contributes to your algorithm. I went into my Hinge and Bumble last week and unmatched on all my old archived chats, just to clean up my account. I've been seeing a gang of new profiles on both apps since.
I ain't saying it did anything, it could be a coincidence but I would recommend brehs taking the time to clean up their dating profile just to see if you notice a change. Also you can delete/recreate your account, it seems like new members get promoted quicker.
Forreal. I just cleaned mine up and then a gang of matches just popped up.
It’s like they give you matches in waves.

I assumed that swiping/liking every picture would decrease your rating.
If that does come into play.. then
isn’t their tagline “the app meant to be deleted” don’t feel like quoting the rest, but there is a science behind who they boost up and who they don’t. Unless you are somebody everybody hits like on, you at the mercy of the algorithm.
