In part, showing the transformative power of public education when, at times, done right. It reminds me of the public hand-washing campaigns done in some of the African countries some ways back. Much of it was aimed at children and seems to be having a good effect so far.

You gotta get out more if you think that represents Asia in general.

The most trashed streets you will ever see are in Asia. The most polluted air is in Asia. The most polluted rivers (in terms of straight trash floating in them) are in Asia. Chinese and Indian tourists have reputations for being rude and obnoxious and they're most of the population of Asia. Lots of Asians (Chinese, Vietnamese, Filipinos, Indians) talk louder than most Americans.

Google "Why are Chinese tourists so rude?" or "Why do Indians talk so loud?" or "Why is [insert Asian country] so polluted?" or "So covered in trash?"

A lot of American stereotypes about Asians are related to Japanese culture which is a huge outlier in Asia, or Asian nerds who come here as doctors/professors/scientists/programmers and don't have anything to do with the average Asian person.

Early childhood is when you make changes, reinforce it as the kid grows and you’ve got a recipe for success or in our case disaster

I'm going to Japan two weeks in October if they open their borders. I love their culture.
