I recently got into sci-fi shyt a year ago. I plan on getting the Twilight Zone series, but I'm on the fence with TOL.
How is the OG Outer Limits show?

It's aight. Has some classic eps though. Kinda uneven really, as it goes with most anthology shows.

I'm sure the Twilight Zone is worth a buy? Praises all around for it.
"The Twilight Zone" is definitely worth it. It's GOAT status.
"The Outer Limits" ain't bad but I didn't know you meant to buy. I thought you were gonna "get" it.
It's not worth buying really, but it's worth checking out.

it's a more science based twilight zone and not as well written or directed. you could say that the average OL episode is only slightly lesser than the average TZ episode, but TZ's best episodes are head and shoulders above OL's best.
the commitment to science fiction over the supernatural or psychology makes it kinda unique, so it is still worth checking out but my personal favorite supplement to TZ is hitchcock presents since i like the crime genre

So it's similar to a movie you wanna toss on because you got nothing else to watch or do?
Good with some stories/ideas you have later seen in Hollywood movies..terminator and other sci fi flicks.
It's an amazing show at times better than Twilight Zone.
