How is season 2 of better call saul?

Im gonna be honest and say I finished the first season but I gave some of the slower episodes a pass because of the breaking bad connection. But it only got kind of interesting at the end when it came to his actual character arc. I remember episode 6 being good because it focused on mike but a lot of the episodes just moved entirely too slow for me. So did it get better? or is it more of the same?

Still slow, but better than season 1.. It doesn't reach Breaking Bad levels of tension or high stakes until the last few episodes.
