How is gentrification a bad thing?

White people moving in making the neighborhood look nice opening up health food stores and community gardens is supposed to be a bad thing?

It's not a bad thing if your white and rich. The white people are not fixing the neighborhoods the local government is fixing it because white people moving in so now they give a fukk. Also who cares about a beautiful nice, safe neighborhood if you can't afford to live there?

White people are fixing the neighborhoods.not the government...they're buying old houses and making them look nice..theryre making community gardens..nobody is kicking any black people out..if they found jobs instead of depending on low income housing or welfare than they could afford it..

So the white people are cleaning the streets and fixing the busted roads and sidewalks okay . I could also tell the white people stay in their own neighborhood and get higher paying jobs so they won't have to move to the hood.

U c00n ass nikkas need to stop associating race with being able to afford shyt, get an education and take your future serious while in college and you'd be able to live in your "gentrified" neighborhoods instead of getting moved out by cacs
