I love the fact that he is so over, but after his snobby heel act for a few years. So surprising he got over so quickly I would of thought Miz would of got over faster.thought??

Very talented just surprised me after how stagnant he was on the mic at times as a heel

wwe was smart in the timing of the face turn...look @ the cities they've been in since he's been champion...Houston, Miami, etc. a lot of latinos in these cities and that has helped a lot

Heel or face, Mike just comes off like a douchebag. That Miz TV garbo doesn't help him either. He was better off with limited mic time and showcasing his new arsenal ie: that little mini-run during the Survivor Series match. The fact he isn't even feuding with a heel right now would be another reason.

ADR on the other hand is an easier transition, especially with Ricardo's personality to compliment him. He also got over (I use that term loosely) as a face because he was quickly booked in a program with Big Show. As far as being actually over though? Nah... crowd is still :dead: during his shyt. We'll see.

I knew all about his success as a face in Mexico, but I still didn't think this would work nearly as well as it has so far in the U.S. This role just seems a lot more natural for him and the crowds are seeing that and buying it.

And ... his title victory was booked and announced extremely well. I had one of my rare mark-out moments when he beat Show. That kind of victory was a great way to add to his momentum as a face.

Look at next few cities they are at:

RAW: San Jose
Smackdown: Sacramento
Royal Rumble: Phoenix
RAW: Las Vegas
Smackdown: San Diego

Wouldn't shock me if Del Rio retained past Royal Rumble and Ziggler cashed in around or at Elimination Chamber

there wasn't really anything you could full on hate about Del Rio as a heel. Obviously he did alot of heelish things like cowardly attack his opponent, insult cities and etc, but he never really did any scumbag things. Plus he couldn't insult properly because his accent likable than hated(no rico). He's much more natural as a face. And if you add in Ricardo, it's a easy transition for him.

I'm not so sure. Unless Ziggler doesn't win the belt or turns face shortly after, I think WWE is smart enough to know it would be a bad idea to make Del Rio a transitional champion.
