How important is drinking a lot of whole milk

ok, im 6'1 and 158lbs, I started working out about 2 weeks ago after like a 6 month hiatus, someone was telling me to drink a lot of whole milk to gain weight. I can already see the difference in the 2 weeks, but im still skinny just more defined

cheap efficient source of protein :manny:

you can get by with other things, but milk + protein powder is king

It depends.. do you like milk?

if so its a great way to get extra cals. drink 1 litre per day of skim milk if you have some fat or whole milk if you are skinny. thats prob like 500-700 cals right there.

I just use protein powder to supplement protein

yeah i guess im going to have to up the milk intake, but as much as I love milk it fills me up. Just weighed myself at my gf crib yesterday 6'1 and with clothes and shoes on 162lbs

about to hit the gym up in about 30 minutes

Don't even look for results after 2 weeks, check yourself in 3 months or so. Checking for results too early leads to discouragement & quitting
