Certainly means something, but it's not the be-all, end-all and doesn't factor in the previous rounds.
For instance, Wade woulda won the Finals MVP had the Heat won it all in 2011, but LeBron was a monster for much of the Eastern Conference playoffs.
Kobe had some epic series in the Western Conference playoffs before the Finals when LA won titles in 2000-2002, but Shaq was just an animal in the Finals.
Magic, Kareem (all-time leading scorer only has two) and Worthy each won Finals MVPs for the 80s Lakers.
Bird won two while Cedric Maxwell won another for the 80s Celtics.
Zeke and Dumars split the 80s Pistons Finals MVPs. No one questions how great Zeke was or thinks Dumars was a better player.
Jordan's one of a kind and likely to be the only player to ever win six Finals MVPs. That's not a knock on other players, just a testament to his greatness. I think people are already forgetting how great Jordan was.
