The video is trying to say Immigration is bad for local unskilled labour in particular African American, while all reports i have known over the years is that immigrations is good for all.
This paper provides extensive evidence that African Americans in MSAs with more Latino immigration experience significantly higher wages, lower unemployment, and higher job creation. The effect is typically very significant and robust across different age groups and income levels. Cities experiencing Latino immigration have fewer African Americans in poverty and more with higher incomes.
