the original format for NXT was such a hot steaming pile of shyt. It wasn't productive in any way, they spent the majority of the time trying to make the contestants look stupid and giving Cole a platform to advance his pointless heel character.

That's why I try to treat everybody I come across at my job with respect. You just never know who's gonna have a quick come up and folks seriously did not think Dazzler was going to make it out there. Miz probably don't even raise his head when DB walks by backstage.

Punk has already openly made a joke of his main event run to Wrestlemania

:whoa: Let's not find reasons to hate on The Miz. Everybody and their mommas were doubtful of D-Bry's personality, but I'm sure the majority of people, including The Miz, were impressed when he first spoke, in that video.

Bryan cut this amazing promo in Dragon Gate USA before he went to the E.

I can't find the video but I knew then that he would make it to this level.

He was already one of the best in the ring and could always cut a decent promo but there was conviction in his words on that show that he could tell he was the shyt.

I'm one of the few, I guess, that never doubted he would make it here.

edit: here it is

He always had the skill, but the thing about him that always worried me was that he had a very laid back, natural speaking style and charisma about him when he was on the circuit. I didn't think that WWE would really let him do that and that WWE crowds would take to it.

Even I didn't think that he'd take an avenue to getting over that would be completely different from what he had portrayed himself as on the indie scene, and that it would work tremendously. Good for Bryan.

Oh, and Miz is fukking terrible. Just thought I would remind everyone of that.

Anyone that wasn't a plain WWE mark knew Bryan Danielson was way more talented than the Miz before he ever appeared on WWE programming.

The only doubt was whether Vince & Co. would ever give him a chance.

Miz was never a better wrestler than dbry sure but it would be fair to ask how he would get over with the crowd
You guys are forgetting how over miz was when he had the briefcase remember the whole will he or won't he join up vs nexus ??? That was a big story and the crowd wanted him to join
