Overrated imo....as a Bulls fan, I especially hated that big eared fakkit

He had some really clutch playoff moments against the Knikks that made him look better than he really was.

In reality, he was an one dimensional scorer who was mediocre on D and didn't do much to make his teammates better.

How was he any better than Eddie Jones, Mitch Richmond, Steve Smith or similar SGs of that era?

I loved when Tayshaun blokked tha shyt out of his slow ass:pacspit:

I mentioned in another thread that his game is strangely synonymous with overrated to the point where he's actually become underrated. A lot of dudes don't understand or simply ignore the fact that being able to anchor an offense (an elite one at that) without monopolizing the ball is not only the most underrated trait of a high volume scorer, but probably the most important one.

He could've averaged more points but it would've come at the sacrifice of offensive flow.

One of the best ever to play without the ball.

He had a punchable face but dude knew how to create his own shot better than a lot of players in the 90s. Think a faster, less likeable Steph Curry with less handles but the same quick shot release .

He saved the Indiana Pacers franchise, a team that had to do a tel a thon to keep them in town .

PER-18.3

He was pretty much Klay/Brad Beal/CJ McCollum

They hype him up more to act like he was a real road block for Jordan. Once all the goons from the 80s were finished, Reggie and NYK was all Jordan had to beat. The teams were so spread out that it was easy :yeshrug:

This guy I follow that does film study and stat analysis did a profike if y’all want to read it.

Backpicks GOAT: #29 Reggie Miller

  • Called him underrated
  • Said he had an incredible offensive impact yearly
  • Got extremely better in post season statistically
  • Translates extremely well into this era
  • Surprisingly three level scoring with three point ranger, mid range shooting and floaters and one of the first two really manipulate refs into calling fouls
The article has a lot of video examples of what he’s talking about as well.

Okay lets take the year they went 7 games with the bulls

19.5/2.3/2.9

:russ:

CJ/Brad Beal/ Klay Thompson

Oh and don't go to TS%....You just making the case that Lebron is better than MJ :russ: Especially with MJ never taking 3's to bring down his FG% :russ: Bron Bron would be shooting 63% from FG playing like MJ :russ:

Reggie Miller led his team and played the most minutes during that series. Every player you mentioned(CJ,Klay,Beal) in relation is a sidekick and in the case of Klay, a 3rd option

I know your a troll but Incase another font seriously tries to use this argument, just putting this out there.

Legend and don’t let these nikkas who weren’t old enough to watch him play tell you different.:mjlol:

I'm 37 and grew up in Chicagoland in the 90s, I watched that nikka play plenty and he was far from a legend. He had a great series against the Knikks that he parlayed into a reputation as a big time player. Didn't really do shyt until the Bulls dynasty was done. That one Finals he made, the Lakers stomped his ass out.

Dude was basically Kevin Martin, Brad Beal status....a very good SG who could score without monopolizing the ball. What's the most he ever scored....22 ppg...as a #1 option.

Very good player who had some great moments but at the end of the day he was never GREAT. He probably the only NBA player whose sister is better than him:mjlol:
