How functional are PS3 sports games in 2022?

So I recently bought a PS3 after realizing how much I missed sports games from the early 2010s. I got madden 10, nba 2k13, fight night 4, and others.

I was hoping to be able to update rosters on them, because I know there’s always new rosters being made for ncaa football 14. Servers for 2k and madden are down, so am I out of luck for those? Or are there ways to get them offline?

I think some fighting game servers are still. Online, you can update the roster offline there is a forum for that

It’s definitely choppier and doesn’t look as good, but 2k and madden gameplay have been garbage for the last few years. The older ones are more fun to me.

I really think nfl games peaked around 02-05, but they’re tough to play now. Prolly more fun than madden 22 when you factor in nostalgia, but still rough.

I feel that. I’ve held off on a PS5 because video games just don’t do it for me like they did when I was younger. I barely played my PS4 the last few years I had it.

but between the switch getting N64 games and getting an emulator with the game boy games I used to play, I got a thirst for those games I used to love.
