tbh this is a good question. i would guess folks reach out to you, or you make it known that you write songs in general and not just personal raps.

most ghostwriters are artists who are either studio singers or former rappers who have left and decided to concentrate on just writing, you dont "get into it" you have to already be in the industry to make that connection.
