Its really :mindblown: to think about what could possibly even exist 10,20, 100 years down the line. At the same time tho, theres a part of me that feels like humans are too self destructive to get there peacefully.

we would be even further if it wasn't for a lot of interference from countries, companies, oil magnates, etc

the space race basically ended because the war was over, once americans beat the russians to the moon and the war was over it was all but abandoned. there were plans to have manned ships to mars and much more in the 80s but it all dried up and lost backing.

Americans have never been to the moon.

Almost every age was the age of advancement to the people living in it. How do you think people felt when they first saw a motor vehicle when all they were used to using were horses? Nothing we have experienced in the last 2 decades can match what it had to be like to go from no tv to tv or from the telegraph to telephone.

I mean the internet is cool but it doesnt even come close to tv.

If you want to go back hundreds of years you gonna put the PS4 up against paper, smelting, the magnetic compass, and gun powder?

You think we are living the good life now but in 100 years people gonna look at us like we were bums and they would never want to live in our time.

cost are cheaper to do certain things. Those big old servers in an old school government computer room where cheaper than making it smaller, lol. They would have made it smaller if they could had afford it at the time.

sega channel was transferring games over broadband.cable....but using it for home internet was not cheap enough in 1996 as compared to 1999/2000. Fiber Optics was installed in the mid 90's when it was cheap enough and we are finally taking advantage of it, lol.

I feel like things have been slow in my lifetime and i'm 26. I feel like things have just become cheap enough to produce.

n!ggas still had outhouses in the 1950s like in urban cities....whites in urban/suburban areas had indoor plumbing. anyways... Outdoor plumbing wasn't universal and damn sure central air wasn't universal.

However....in some parts of the world progress hasn't been made. People still living "low grade" and can be feed on 2cents a day from the united states. People still can't get clean drinking water!

we need to focus on people and eliminate corruption. Hell, Put a solar panel on the crib when building new homes....we ain't using this "advanced" technology in the right way.

at this point we just building upon old military and government technology. There is innovation in terms of the consumer market.....but military drove a lot of our new technological advances.

the reason we have crappy cell phone services is cause of business. cellphones used to be powerful enough you could stand in the dessert of Nevada and get a signal. Not anymore cause making money is more important than emergency. FCC toned it down decades ago and did it to allow competition of services...but it reduced quality because you can't be interfering with other networks etc. :smh:
