I notice everybody trashing the fatherless on this site (to the point that it has become somewhat of a meme on here )

But how does growing up without a mother affect the youth?

Personally, I was raised by a single father (now married) and believe that a woman isn't as necessary after the adolescent years of a males upbringing as the father is..

I've learned invaluable life lessons at 15-16 that some of my peers (now 20) still don't know, and I see some posts indicating that grown men miss out on these lessons by not having pops around.
Not every man can build a home from scratch, but damn I see some nikkas who cant change the oil or maintain simple shyt around the house. What happens when you nikkas get older and start a family :wtf:
Are your sons doomed to a life of being dependent on other nikkas like women because your pops ditched you??

Trolling aside how do yall feel growing up without a mother affects the youth?

But what was different about pops tho, was he a better parent or were you simply afraid of him caving your chest in?

My pops never got violent with me, he just knew how to convey his messages in a way I could come to terms with. Im guessing because he remembers how it felt to be a teenage male.

Im not even gonna lie, this is true for me. I don't respect women that complain about a lot of stuff or want hand-outs because my mother was never that type of woman (from what I saw).
She took care of her own shyt, cut her own grass, carried her own groceries etc etc. If my momma can do it I see no reason these other chicks cant :manny:

In the grand scheme of things this is negligible.

I can do both these things but they don't really mean much.

I fukked up living with my dad. I had the whole place to myself usually and paid no rent. I lacked discipline on the upkeep and got kicked out. Got no slack with pops:wow:

Afraid of him of him caving my chest in(he would slap me with open hand) was one of the main reasons I didn't step out of line. I had serious behavior problems as a kid especially in school and if my dad didn't straighten me up before adulthood,I would have been in big trouble by now at 27 year's old.

Dudes that grow up without moms are always looking for women to be that mother figure to them.
