How do you play 456?

Aka C-low aka the dice game with 3 dice. Only seen a few old heads play it I was just a craps player but always was curious about 456 and hoped somebody would know the rules and how it plays.

The players take turns rolling three dice. The bank rolls first. If she rolls a “4,5,6”, or three of the same numbers, “Trips”, then she automatically wins each of the player bets. If she rolls a “1,2,3”, then she loses, and each player wins their bet.

What about the in between points? I know 456 is craps equivalent to 7/11 and 123 is their 3 point or snake eyes but is it a numbers game I know not everything is a point and you need like two of the same number to make a point? Who’s the bank roll the first person to shoot or win in 6 high/ace high

We used to play it like - roll three dice: three different numbers that aren’t 4-5-6, roll again until you get doubles. If you get doubles, the third number is your score, so roll two 5s and a 4, your score is 4. Whoever gets the highest wins the round, triples beat any doubles, 4-5-6 automatic win the round. We never played 1-2-3 automatic loss. For whatever reason two 4s and a 6 was called a head crack.

Yup this, two of the same number and the third is your point
