How do you plan for music projects?

So I be having a ton of fukking ideas for beat tapes (themes and shyt) but I get lost in it all when it comes to planning out how to go about starting and finishing it. so my question to you beat making breh's and brehettes,

How do you plan and execute a mixtape/beat-tape idea from beginning to end?

Catch that inspiration and grind like there's no tomorrow. Procrastination is creativity's biggest enemy in my experience. Thinking I can leave something until tomorrow and finding myself without the inspiration the next day sucks.

take advantage of the times when you're most motivated..

i know for me they tend to come at bad times like the day before a job interview or when i have to work early or do something important...those are the days i'm up at like 5am writing some magic like its nothing

How do you plan and execute a mixtape/beat-tape idea from beginning to end?

make as many tracks as possible then listen through and chose the best 10-20...or come up with a theme then base your tracks around it

themes are dope. but if you have trouble doing themes just release compilation beat tapes. i remember listening to beat tapes from various people who were in the game, but no dre, timbaland, pharrel/neptunes status circa 2003ish and just remembering the downloads where shyt was literally track 1, track 2, beat 1 , beat 2. to now where beats have names...shyts crazy
