How Do You Handle That Time of the Month

I was just about to post in the ladies thoughts thread but I just soldier it out, my flow is fine the first day and then it’s Armageddon for real. It usually comes with cramps, so I have a heating pad and try to eat super healthy and workout esp around that time, I also drink a whole lot of water.

You're so good. I pig out. I met the guy I deal with while on a trip to the grocery store during that time. I had cookies, ice cream etc. He was like "What the hell you buying?" I replied "Mine your business." :russ:

It’s tempting but I always pay for it with my cramps so I said eff it let me try to behave on my p-but when it’s over the snacking resumes!

In the first 24 hours I feel like shyt so I lay in bed and eat whatever I want. No work is to be done the first day. I probably won't get out of bed with the exception of dog walking, bathroom and food.


Well i know when it comes because my stomach begins to bloat a little. I wear pants liners anyway so soon as I spot, I immediately take pain reliever medicine ( I chew them). Give it take within that hour, I’m good. I rarely cramp and I’m grateful for that. However, my left leg to foot gets numb which is weird but I handle mines pretty well.

Oh I watch what I eat before and during my period.

Mine came yesterday and it’s normally chill, but 2 weeks leading up and the couple days before, is when I suffer. Super sensitive to hormonal change, feeling irritated and fatigue is really bad. Luckily it doesn’t last long.

There is a menstrual cycle diet I want to try, but I just never prioritize. It’s supposed to help with the mood changes and stuff.
