How do you get traffic to soundclick

Before i start i want to say i did search for this thread before making it, im sure someones asked this before but i couldnt find anything

I set up my soundclick ready to sell beats about 2 weeks ago, got my mp3 player up on my page, set my prices in my info, and naturally i havent gotten any traffic. Right now im just promoting using twitter, soundcloud, and soundclick, i know these arent enough to really sell beats so Im wondering how you guys do it since some of you are pretty well off.

Any help would be awesome

You have to identify a target market and identify where the hangout rather it be online offline or both, and you have to develop a relationship with the artist,company or artist's team. It's a lot and there is no easy answer for promoting in general. It takes a lot of work and there are a lot of steps go into it. It's all about networking and knowing where the people you want to reach are located.

I know this isn't telling you much, but because there are so many steps and avenues its not something that could be answered in one post.

thanks for the help man, sounds like what i should do is be patient and scope things out a bit more, get deeper into the web an see what communities and people i can find. Where im at there is no rap scene whatsoever so the local route is tough, i do have an album with one serious artist in progress though which is exciting cant wait for yall to hear it, theres some nice stuff on there

Yea this is true a lot of people do make that type of money off soundclick but it all goes into business and marketing, how much money are you willing to invest to make that return and to make an actual profit. No one will make that profit overnight but overtime after you invest a certain amount of money in the right ways and in the right places, you can get a return like that. It's all a question of how much time an individual is going to take to develop their brand and business model. The mistake most people make is believing they can get that overnight, or just because they have good material thinking it's going to sell itself. It never works like that. People are so quick to jump on other people's success they never question what they actually did to get where they are, they become blinded by the success someone else grabbed through countless hours of work.

If I have a business and I don't want to spend money getting it off the ground, I won't make any profit. I've never heard of any business not willing to spend money.
