How do you get a job?

No one real told me how. Everyone said to to school and get good grades so you can find a job. But I failed most things at school and left early.

So how do I get a job. Now bear in mind there's over 50 people applying for the minimum wage jobs that I'm applying for.

Never had an interview. Never had a call back. Never had a job.

make sure your resume looks good, and dont be picky if its your first jobs

before i didnt have my first jobs I was looking at all these nice offices or fancy place to work at and i was just handing out resumes and shaking there hands, it took me a while to find out that I was wasting my time.

I had my first job at a grocery store as a bagger when I applied online, grocery stores have tons of departments like deli, bakery, seafood, stock, produce, etc so there is more opprotunity for a job,

look at snag a job & craigslist and apply

4. Search for an internship to gain experience

my resume has nothing on it so i cant even get a grocery store job. mcdonalds turn me down.

Go agency, try to get on a post room in the city (Liverpool st, westend, canary wharf, etc), then try your hardest to get into a decent department.

I done this at 18, was working in IT help desk at 21, found I didn't likd it and took redundancy at 25 (21 grand ) and switched careers.
