if you don't know....the rematch clause expired Friday so Fury is no longer obligated to have the rematch with Wilder and is moving on

If it's true then it's probably for the best, Fury won the first fight clearly and the second fight was a complete domination, so feel like we already know who the better fighter is now so what's the point? They could just end up fighting eachother over and over again, think it would be better to have some fresh fights.

Would like to see Fury fight whoever he is fighting in December (I don't think it will be an elite level opponent) and then if AJ beats Pulev those two fight.

And Wilder would like to see fight Ruiz and maybe Whyte (as Whyte is very unlikely to get his shot straight away now if he beats Povetkin)

There's so many intriguing fights to be made, just got to make them, the unnecessary trilogy fight was just holding ish up, the world wants to see AJ vs Fury, that's a major fight that will do big numbers, certainly over a million and possibly 2 million buys. Would be good for boxing if that happens, Wilder in competitive fights could still be good, as long as he fights good people and doesn't try no Ortiz trilogy or some shyt...

I wanted to see Wilder build himself back up before getting back in there with Fury. As of right now, I'm not hyped for a trilogy... but some impressive KOs by Wilder against some top level fighters could change that. I would still heavily favor Fury but it would at least re-garner the intrigue.

from the home of coca-cola, i'm not referring to s
I think its pretty fukked up Fury isn't a man of his word and is choosing to duck out of the rematch that he agreed to AGAIN based off a technicality... Wilder clearly wasn't himself in the last fight.. Fury is clearly a cheater and all his biggest fights are controversial

If the fight doesn't happen it could potentially be the best thing for him at this point, if he goes back in with Fury and loses for a 3rd time that would be a bad look. Now if he fights some top level opponents and wins in impressive fashion he builds himself up and people would actually be interested in seeing him get another shot again. Ultimately even if he lost to Fury in the future he would still craft a respectable legacy should he beat some top level competition, the biggest knock on Wilder is his padded record and not beating enough or any top level fighters, if he starts doing that in history people would have to put respect on his name. It's going to be if he's willing to take challenges or if he's gonna scam people with Breazeale 2 or Ortiz trilogy, I think most want to see some fresh challenges now.

I've seen what I needed to see from this matchup.
On the flipside Fury will fight someone less good next.
If we really get the biggest fight in boxing there is in April though it's all good. I don't think Pulev or Kabayel/Rivas will fukk up that. They are solid, good fighters but AJ and Fury should come through.
