As I'm scrolling through Instagram, I see all these renditions of Michael Jackson's Thriller video.

On the one hand, this speaks to how big Michael Jackson was. For this video and dance to still be popular after 40 years says a lot about MJ's cultural impact.



On the other hand, isn't enough enough already?
We really gotta watch another 100 people do it worse than the original? Maybe leave it alone and come up with something new. It's bad enough y'all just remix old songs. Y'all gotta remix dances too...

The fact it didn't go #1 back then is telling but it's still a greatest family friendly songs of all time which we're bereft of these days. Loved it when I was a kid.
